The name Mäpt Kahe-zmurl Eplárd is derived from the Gnollish language, as Mäpt Kahe-zmurl Eplárd was founded by Irene vyim Rolɑrtɑtræ̝rg, who was culturaly Gnollish.

Mäpt Kahe-zmurl Eplárd was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the late 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Mäpt Kahe-zmurl Eplárd is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Mäpt Kahe-zmurl Eplárd is buildings are grouped arround an odd layout of crampt paverstone streets, which seems to be based on an overlapping squair patern such that there are small squares at the cornor of every bigger square. Sometimes buildings exist in the smaller squaires, other times they are open spaces, or occupied by temporary structures. The town rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.

Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes.
